How much does beauty-technology training cost and what drives the price

Prices for beauty-technology training vary several times over. Below is what really drives the cost and how to compare two offers that look similar on paper.

How much does beauty-technology training cost and what drives the price

Price ranges on the market

A one-day course on a single technology usually costs from about a thousand to several thousand PLN or the equivalent. Longer, individual or multi-technology courses cost more. At OG Academy a single course starts from 1000 PLN net for an online theory module and from 1900–2000 PLN net for the on-site format with practice.

Price alone does not tell you the value — you have to check what exactly is included.

What goes into the price

The cost depends on: the number of hours and days, the format (individual, small group, online), the number of models and scope of practice, access to a device and its class, materials and protocols, the trainer's experience, group size and the scope of post-course support.

The individual format costs more than a group one, because the whole of the trainer's time goes to one participant. Online is cheaper because it does not include model work.

Theory versus practice

The most common trap is a course that, at the on-site price, gives mainly a lecture and a demonstration and limits your own model work to a few minutes. Ask directly: how many models, how much time for your own work and whether the trainer corrects technique as you go.

A theory-only module makes sense as preparation or a top-up, but it will not replace practice if the goal is to launch a service.

What to compare between offers

A set of questions for each school: the hourly breakdown, the number and type of models, whether you work on equipment close to a salon setup, whether you get written protocols and documentation templates, who runs the sessions, what post-course contact looks like, and whether an invoice and a named certificate with hours are issued.

Two offers at the same price can differ two- or threefold in hours of practice.

The hidden cost: time and rollout

Add travel, accommodation and a day without salon income to the course price. On the other hand, a well-chosen course shortens the time to launch the service and reduces the cost of mistakes on your own clients.

A cheaper course that then needs a second one can cost more than one solid course.

Summary

The price of equipment training depends mainly on the format, hours of practice and the scope of materials. Compare offers by how much you will actually work on a model and what you get in writing, not by the figure alone. OG Academy confirms the programme and quote before booking.
